What is ginseng?

Korean Ginseng is a plant whose rhizome is commonly consumed.

Also known as “Meyer Panax Ginseng”, this plant is native to Korea and certain regions of China, although it is now cultivated almost everywhere around the world. This perennial plant belongs to the Araliaceae family.

The roots used in the making of this food supplement are at least six years old: it is from this age that they have the highest levels of saponins as well as ginsenosides. It is therefore a pure extract of red ginseng root, of the best quality available.

Its exceptional ginsenoside content also justifies its great effectiveness. This ginseng is certified 100% organic, it is manufactured, packaged and controlled in France, in a specialized laboratory.

It is often used to combat fatigue and depression, but also to stimulate sexual activity: it is a powerful aphrodisiac, like Maca from Peru.

Origin and method of manufacture

Ginseng contains active compounds known for their therapeutic properties and virtues.

We therefore find various polysaccharides, essential amino acids, fatty acids and different vitamins. Real Ginseng is a mine of nutrients and active ingredients with proven effectiveness.

This organic Korean red Ginseng comes from Mount Paektu, a region which separates China from Korea, and which is renowned for producing the best Ginseng on the planet.

Its red color is obtained by steam heating the roots, then by traditional drying. This unique process reveals all the benefits of Ginseng.


Every day, take three Korean Ginseng capsules with a large glass of water.

It is possible to start the treatment with low doses, then gradually increase them over the weeks.

The best time to ingest Ginseng capsules is before meals, which allows optimal absorption of the active ingredients of the plant.

The duration of the treatment should not be excessive: the effectiveness of the plant diminishes if the treatments are too long (two to six weeks maximum).

Contraindications and adverse effects


The consumption of Korean Ginseng is safe if it respects the usual doses.

In case of overdose, taking Ginseng can have effects similar to insulin: lowering blood glucose levels.

Taking Ginseng is not recommended for pregnant women, breastfeeding women and young children.

Medical advice is necessary in the event of heart disease, high blood pressure or diabetes. Caution also for people who suffer from insomnia, obesity or nervous disorders.

Side and/or undesirable effects

Ginseng is a safe plant, the consumption of which does not cause any particular adverse effects.

Large doses of Ginseng can, however, cause nervousness, insomnia, diarrhea, irritability, palpitations and an increase in blood pressure.
